The laneway’s condition and appearance were to be improved with a view to holding public street activities in the lane.

The project included the removal and replacement of the existing patchwork of block paved and concrete surface finishes, modifications to inground services, drainage and water connections, installation of a new electrical conduit and pit system along with the provisions of a new electrical switchboard and associated event power and new festoon lighting installation.

The project was completed successfully and delivered a renewed and visually appealing laneway for the community to use and enjoy. Seaforth Civil ensured the local street artwork was successfully preserved during the construction phase and continues to provide a stunning backdrop for the laneway.
