Doon Street Rehabilitation, Blackwater
Central Highlands Regional Council engaged Seaforth Civil to undertake a comprehensive range of roadway improvements across the site. The project involved the demolition of the existing kerb and channel throughout the site road extents, including adjacent traffic islands and the central traffic island. This was followed by the installation of new pit surround concrete works, designed to retrofit a new lintel and grate to the existing drainage chambers. Additionally, the project included the installation of new kerbing with precise grade rectification to ensure proper drainage and alignment. The scope also encompassed the construction of new pathways, the renewal and creation of pram ramps to enhance accessibility, as well as the application of fresh asphalt and line marking to complete the roadworks and improve overall safety and functionality.
