Breaking Ground on the Gladstone Cultural Precinct

Paynters Project Manager, Craig Hornagold was joined by Gladstone Regional Council Mayor Matt Burnett and funding partners to turn the first sod on the Gladstone Cultural Precinct site.

Once complete, the community facilities will include 4 commercial buildings, car park and significant landscaping and playspaces for the Gladstone Community.

“The Philip Street Communities and Families Precinct has been designed to strengthen Gladstone’s social service system by clustering facilities in order to enhance community outcomes, helping address current and future human and social services needs for the region,” Gladstone Regional Council Mayor, Matt Burnett said.

Seaforth Civil are undertaking the Civil Works for this project. This includes clearing the native bush land site, bulk earthworks, stormwater system, roads and carparks.
